Globe, Years & Years and Samsung win the Music and Brand Partnerships at 2017s Music Week Awards
Globe, part of Universal Music, won the Music and Brand Partnerships award at 2017s Music Week Awards for their work with Years & Years and Samsung, The event took place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
Years & Years and Samsung came together early last year to provide a first for the VR and music industry, Years & Years gave music fans the ultimate immersive experience, with an interactive VR performance streamed live.
Hosted in London the performance was streamed to 17 different markets. Key influencers and media were flown to London to experience the gig both live and in VR. The gig gained both social and media reach across Europe.
The gig later led to Years & Years filming their Wembley Arena show in 360 also.
