Shock Machine takes to the Catwalk for the Gucci Cruise Show

On Monday, 29 May, Shock Machines took to the catwalk for Alessandro Michele’s  latest Gucci line in Florence.

Shock Machine, who is was already a big fan of the fashion brand, received and email from Gucci requesting he walk their cruise show during a gig: “Part of my look on stage is Gucci suits,” he says of the label’s lean, ’70s-inspired tailoring that syncs neatly with his ardent admiration of the style of Bowie and Roxy Music.

His cruise 2018 look, in crystal-edged violet brocade, is “not a million miles away” from his standard stage attire. “I go for the more extreme side of men’s fashion. Whenever I put my suit on, it’s a transformation.”

Joining Shock Machine on the catwalk was the likes of Italian indie-rock singer, Lucio Corsi, Dirt Hand’s Arun Roberts, Savages’s Jehnny Beth.
