Fakear to headline Phil Taggart’s ‘Slacker’ at XOYO
BBC Radio 1’s Phil Taggart will move his successful alternative music clubnight ‘Slacker’ to a new monthly residency at Shoreditch hotspot ‘XOYO’ from May 19th, following a string of successful events of the past year in venues across Hackney that featured artists such as Rat Boy, Blossoms, The Japanese House and Big Narstie.
For May’s show, fellow machine artist ‘Fakear’ will return to XOYO for the second time this spring. The electronic artist’s live sampling shows have amassed a staggering following in his native country France and look set to achieve the same attention in the UK.
Phil Taggart, being a huge advocate of new music, has assembled a line up certain to provide a wildly popular night including sets from Beaty Heart, Day Wave, Bishop Briggs and a DJ set from himself.
