Machine Management’s Iain Watt and Martha Kinn nominated for Manager of the Year at the Music Week Awards 2017

Machine Management’s Iain Watt and Martha Kinn have been nominated for Manager of the Year at the Music Week Awards 2017.

Managing Director, Iain manages a variety of Machine Management artists and including Clean Bandit who went from strength to strength in 2016 releasing ‘Tears featuring Louisa Johnson’ which was the band’s fifth top five single in a row and went on to sell over 750k copies on the UK and 1.5 million around the world.  This was followed by ‘Rockabye featuring Sean Paul and Anne Marie’ which went to be a huge global hit hitting the number 1 spot over 40 countries and stayed at no. 1 in UK for nine weeks, including the Christmas number 1, in the Official UK Charts.  This was the longest run at no.1 by any UK act since 1994.

Since joining Machine Management in 2013 Martha has made a significant impact on the growth of the company where she is now a partner.  She manages Years & Years who’s critically acclaimed debut album ‘Communion’ has clocked over 1.5million sales to date and hit the top ten in over 20 countries around the world including no.1 in the UK.

Years & Years have also been nominated in the Music & Brand Partnerships category. The band teamed up with Samsung and gave music fans the first live, immersive experience, with a interactive VR performance streamed live across Europe.
