Ahead of the long-awaited release of Fakear’s debut album ‘Animal’, The Independent have caught up with the electronic prodigy to discuss the inspirations behind the album and the exciting future of electronic music.
Touching on the nature of the electronic scene in France, the article describes Fakear as part of a new wave of pioneers in the country, aiming to change the way we listen to electronic music.
On the album, Fakear notes; “There were many things I wanted to explain… my use of the vocals as animal cries. I didn’t want to use voices just to speak with. I wanted to people to see human beings as the animals”.
